The new extended lower quick release plate ^[1] ensures a more stable camera mount and is convenient for installing a lens mount, ensuring a more secure setup.

Automated axis blocks

RS 3 Pro lets you start shooting instantly, without ever having to miss a single shot. Just press the power button and the 3 axes will automatically unlock and expand, allowing you to start shooting in seconds. Press the power button once and the axes will automatically lock upon entering rest mode, making moving around much more efficient. Press and hold the power button and it will fold and lock automatically.

High load capacity

The RS 3 Pro's optimized structural design ensures that its weight remains just 1.5kg / 3.3lb (the same as the RS 2, including the stabilizer, integrated battery grip and dual quick release plates layer), while its load capacity is 4.5kg / 10lb, which offers powerful support in a lightweight body.

Elegant carbon fiber construction

The arms of the RS 3 Pro are made from layered sheets of uncut carbon fiber, just like Ronin 2. This makes it lighter and stronger than the jointed carbon fiber material used on the RS 2, increasing its stiffness and reducing its weight for cope with even more challenging recovery scenarios.

The new evolution of the RS stabilization

Powered by 3rd generation RS stabilization algorithms, the RS 3 Pro offers significantly improved stability in any scenario. Laboratory sampling data shows that the RS 3 Pro provides a 20% increase in stability over the RS 2, effortlessly handling low-angle shooting, fast-moving scenarios, or alternating between high and low positions.

Get super smooth results

When SuperSmooth mode is enabled, the RS 3 Pro increases motor torque to further improve stabilization, delivering stable footage even in fast-moving scenarios or when using lenses with a focal length equivalent to 100mm.

LiDAR assistance

To facilitate focusing, Ronin 4D's LiDAR focusing technology is now applied to the RS 3 Pro. The new LiDAR Distance Sense (RS) can project 43,200 detection points within a distance of 14 meters. ^[4]

It also has a built-in camera with a 30mm equivalent focal length and a wide 70 ° FOV, which meets the focusing needs of most scenarios.
