Simple design to make life easier

To make all your workflows smoother, we've integrated automatic calibration, an easy-release extruder, and auto-loading filament functionality all into one printer, to make maintenance as simple as possible.

Secure closed print area

With your safety in mind, we've designed a fully enclosed print area to protect prying hands from moving parts. The Junior 1.0 also uses PLA, a biocompostable filament with extrusion at lower temperatures, so the printer consumes only 75 Watts of power.

Small and full of features

Don't be fooled by the slimmer, lighter look - the da Vinci Jr. features a sturdy 150 x 150 x 150mm frame and 100 to 400 micron resolution making it the perfect desktop printer.

NFC chip for optimized material profiles

Our 2nd generation chip, applied to the filament spool ring, transfers material data to the 3D printer. This allows you to automatically configure the optimal profile of the material used and to know how much filament is still available.


Easily upgrade to print third-party materials

Printing with third-party materials is now a reality, thanks to Open Smart Tag , an NFC chip that opens the printer to materials of different brands. With this add-on, you can now take advantage of the versatility of an open material system on a printer that delivers reliable, hassle-free 3D printing.
