Automatic XYZ calibration

The BCN3D Epsilon's built-in auto calibration system calibrates the entire printer in less than 6 minutes by measuring multiple points to automatically adjust the height of the print surface and the offset (XY) between both nozzles. Get a perfect first layer every time, with no user intervention required.

Improved electronics on the gen2 version:

• New ventilation system: Previously the ventilation system introduced cold air inside the fans with extraction towards another grate. This has been found to potentially cause turbulence inside, resulting in occasional inefficiencies. To solve this problem, the warm airflow is now drawn from the interior and lowers the internal pressure to allow the interior to draw in the air from the outside.
• New motor drivers: the Trinamic TMC2130 motor was replaced with the TMC2226. Not only are these new engines very quiet, they also offer more efficient performance and improved engine torque. While their predecessors required heat sinks to cool, these new ones get very little heat.
• New motherboard: we have moved away from commercial components and opted for custom components designed specifically for our products. These have been concentrated into one card, instead of being made up of several commercial pieces implemented in various areas of the printer. This significant reduction results in a simpler and, in turn, more efficient main board.
• Multi-material mode: a technique that allows you to print two different materials and combine their properties.
